Welcome to In Which I
Welcome to In Which I, in which I do things and write about them.
Content
The pieces on this blog are predominantly non-fiction, including articles written for other publications (check the header/footer of the piece for links). I might occasionally include a flight of fancy.
Suggestions and review requests
If there’s something you think I should try doing or a topic you’d like me to write about, I am open to suggestions. I am interested in reviewing outdoors kit (not hunting or fishing) and food related things (vegetarian or vegan). I review honestly and retain authorial control - I am not interested in publishing promoted content. You can leave a comment, contact me on Twitter or send me an email.
Me
I enjoy walking and being outside, cooking and eating food, reading, watching, writing, thinking, listening, playing, learning, travelling and sharing these things with friends. I have a PhD in culture and communications and my academic background is in cultural studies, queer and trans studies, media theory and practice and creative arts. I am co-editor of the audio zine Queer Out Here. My name is Jonathan. My pronouns are he/him/his or they/them/theirs.

Note
I am currently living on Brayakaulung, Gunaikurnai Country on the Gippsland Plains in Victoria, Australia. I would like to acknowledge the Gunaikurnai People, the traditional owners of this land, and pay my respects to their ancestors, their Elders both past and present, and their emerging leaders. This always was, and always will be, Aboriginal land.
